Charles Clifford Dental Hospital Murals

This is a series of 4 murals funded by the Sheffield Hospitals Charity.

They are for the sedation room in the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital.

The murals have been designed to enhance the patient's experience

and distract from what can be a daunting experience.

They tell the story of five Space Robots who leave their home planet in search of adventure. They explore their galaxy making many discoveries, non more exciting than the 'Red Planet'. Here they find the Space Aliens. It all seems a bit scary at first, but soon they all discover what they have in common. I wanted the story to echo a visit to the dental hospital - daunting, but something that turns out just fine.
